Thomas Wesley Stern has recently released their CD American Pain. What started out as a 10 song demo has become their debut LP (sneak peak here). TPM has helped this terrific group of musicians with some marketing expenses as well as touring costs. Next up, they have requested help with instrument replacement, maintenance, strings and other incidentals.

TPM HELPS JUSTIN AND ALINA WITH EP

Justin and Alina are currently recording their original music and hopefully with our help, they will soon be releasing their first EP (sneak peak here). They are also preparing their first music video working with our former support recipients and now mentors for TPM, Nick Wilson and Colin Rieser of imakesound Productions.

TPM GETS JUSTIN, THE NATURAL, PRO INSTRUCTION

Thanks to TPM, Justin is enjoying piano lessons provided by Rainbows End Performance Studio. In addition to lessons on the piano Justin is also receiving violin instruction! He has always wanted to learn the violin and is very grateful to have this opportunity.

ESCAPE DIRECTORS JOIN TPM MENTOR PROGRAM- ALREADY MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

Our one year association with Escape Directors has come to an end. Although, they have decided to put their band project to the side, each of the them continue to prevail in the music industry. Nick and Colin forge ahead with their production company while Steve and Brendon are honing their film scoring skills. Escape Directors now become part our mentor list and offer their experience and advice to the new artists we bring on. We are forever grateful for everything these extraordinary young men have done and will do for The Project Matters.

They have completed their new EP “The Crowded Room” with renown producer Jim Wirt, and it was released July, 2011. Here is a video of the song “The Distant Past”. View it and be amazed.

How does TPM make a difference?

TPM’S goal is to empower and encourage young musicians to reach their creative potential. The first band they’ve selected to help, Escape Directors have been guided by a focused Board of Directors in expanding their musical careers.
