    Executive Director

    Karen High is a retired teacher of thirty years. She holds a Masters Degree in Human Development from Fairleigh Dickenson University and a BS from Pratt Institute. She is married to Bill High and the mother of two boys. She loves baseball and music and believes that retirement is a big fat lie.

  • William High
    Executive Vice President

    William High is an account executive with a package manufacturing company. He graduated from Rider University with a degree in marketing. He is married to Karen High.

  • Matthew Downes
    Executive Vice President

    Matthew Downes works in artist consulting. He is the founder and senior consultant at ktc mgmt which provides consulting solutions for artists, management companies and labels. He graduated Johnson and Wales University in 1999 and currently resides in Santa Monica, California.  He loves animals, sports and all things music. Karen High is his Mom.

  • Donald Colonello
    Vice President

    Donald Colonello attended Johnson and Wales University and is currently living in Miami, Florida where he works in the hospitality industry. He is a proud father, avid golfer, sports enthusiast and self proclaimed food connoisseur. Don spent thirteen years in California working in finance before re-entering the hospitality field. Don’s love of music started early with the likes of Led Zeppelin, Van Morrison and countless others. Don brings enthusiasm, dedication and his motivational skills to The Project Matters to help young musicians reach their potential.

  • Emily Theresa Coursen
    Vice President

    Emily Theresa Coursen is a recent graduate of Temple University where she earned a degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. She lives in Philadelphia with her beau of 4 years and her two adorable cats. Emily is currently working as assistant manager for Springboard Media, Inc., in Philadelphia PA. Music and non-profit work have been a lifelong passion and Emily is thrilled to be part of The Project Matters team.   

  • Briana Martinez-Horan
    Corporate Secretary

    Briana Martinez-Horan holds a BA in English Communications from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. Since graduation she has been working for Johnson and Johnson as a sales representative. She is married and lives in Central New Jersey with her husband Sean and their two fantastic little boys.

  • Howard Scribner is a CPA and a consulting  partner in an accounting and advisory firm. He has an MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor in Commerce from Rider University.  He and his wife, Susan, live at the Jersey Shore and  have four children. Howard enjoys music, sports and outdoor activities.
